Bio: I am a mom of 2, a gr. 7 and 8 teacher, and writing is one of my passions. I have written many short stories and poems. I even have one piece published. 😊 I believe it is very important to talk openly about mental health, to try to reduce the stigmas around it. One way I'm trying to be open, is this blog! I hope I live to see the day that those who suffer from mental illness will receive the same respect and public support that those with cancer or heart disease do. The only way that can happen is if we who suffer, refuse to suffer alone and in silence.

  1. Hi Amy,

I landed on your web page while I was surfing on the internet.
    Thanks for the helpful articles.
    I liked reading them.

Would you be interested in sharing one of your articles on our website, with as many links as you wish in it?

Or, would you be interested in being one of the writers on our new website project?

Thanks for considering. Let me know if you have any questions.
P.S. (Your article must be not be published before.)

  2. Well done, Amy. I have enjoyed what I have read so far on your blog. I appreciate that you are able to give people a vivid and raw experience of how anxiety eats into our self esteem and very soul if it gets half a chance. Your writing is refreshing, no fancy mumbo jumbo words, just truth. Thank you.
